Swan Hellenic - 33 days

Entire Antarctica

From Ushuaia to Dunedin

Swan Hellenic Itinerary semi- circumnavigation

THE VOYAGE

A month at the end of the earth

From Ushuaia the course runs south, then turns west and keeps going long after most ships have turned for home. It follows the Antarctic Peninsula, crosses the Bellingshausen Sea, holds the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf, and rises at last through New Zealand's sub-Antarctic islands. On the chart it is one unbroken line. In life it is a month of ice, light and open water.

Only a privileged few will ever witness the pristine world at the edge of the map. This epic semi-circumnavigation from South America to New Zealand plunges you into Earth’s most untamed frontier, a profoundly humbling passage through the Antarctic ice that will forever change how you see our planet.

As one of the world’s southernmost cities, Ushuaia carries its ‘end of the world’ reputation well. Board your boutique ship before departing for your journey through one of the most captivating wilderness regions of the world

The trip was amazing and would highly recommend Antarctic Cruise.

What a trip to Antarctic it was amazing. We used Antarctic Cruise, they were so helpful. Ben helped us book the cruise and flights that suited us, as we stayed in South America for a couple of weeks. Ben worked hard to get us a great price. Alicia was super helpful with the trip we were going on. Alicia has also helped us with a couple of things after the cruise. The trip was amazing and would highly recommend Antarctic Cruise. Thank you Ben & Alicia

Going above and beyond

Samantha was very helpful in assisting us to make the right choices in taking a cruise with Ponant to Antarctica and then afterwards on a Peru Tour which included Machu Picchu. Once our tours were confirmed, we were then assisted by Alicia who made sure our new experiences to come were as seamless as possible. The friendly enthusiasm from both Samantha and Alicia gave us the confidence that we had made the right choices. Going above and beyond, it was certainly appreciated by us when Alicia reached out to advise we may be facing a cancelled flight the next day due to an airline strike. We did have a cancelled flight and Alicia's assistance was second to none. For my husband and I, it was a trip of a lifetime and we feel very blessed that we had the opportunity. Thank you Samantha, Alicia and team for helping to make it all possible.

Seamless Experience

We travelled to Antarctica with Atlas Ocean Voyages Feb/Mar 2026. We had a seamless experience throughout the booking process and the cruise itself was amazing and memorable! The smaller ship, with only approximately 140 passengers made the whole experience more personal. We would highly recommend Atlas to anyone thinking about going to Antarctica.
